My friend Wendy of http://mygreenside.org uses a green web hosting service which she recommends. It's called Taproot Hosting http://www.taproothosting.com/green_web_hosting.php.

One thing to be aware of with this service is that they seem to take care of some of the technical side of Wordpress for clients. Great if you don't know how to do that, hard if you like to do that yourself. I would check what they do for you before considering whether to use them and see if it's a good fit.
